GAA President talks to Laois Heritage Society

GAA President, Liam O'Neill, will give a talk on "The GAA and its relevance in Irish society today" at the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, on Thursday, May 17, at 8.30pm. The talk is part of Laois Heritage Society's Spring series.
The new GAA President has strong connections with Laois Heritage Society. His father, also Liam, was a founding member and former vice-chairman. Liam will speak on the important role the GAA plays in Irish life and he will outline his main objectives during his three year term at the helm of the biggest sporting organisation in Ireland. All are welcome and admission is free.
